This was the first run I had done by myself in a while, so I wanted to open up my pace. I ran out across the bridge and to the entrance of the Berkeley Marina, which ended up being 4.84 miles. I felt really good the first half but got sort of tired right as I was hitting my turn around point. I was still able to keep a decent pace and I got a runners high just after crossing San Pablo on the way back. It was much more tiring than most of the runs I’ve been doing, but it felt good.

My first run since getting back to Berkeley after being in Chicago. Eileen and I ran together and the pace was a little slow (we did 3.8 miles), but at least we were out for a good amount of time.

This morning I went to the gym in Crystal Lake with Eileen and my mom. I did some nice lifting and managed to do a decent length run on the indoor track. Not my favorite place to run, but better than running outside when it’s this cold.

Eileen and I are back in the Chicago area for winter break and currently staying at my parents house. We went for a quick run because we’ve been feeling pretty lazy from just hanging out with friends and eating midwestern food.

This morning Eileen got me to go running with her when we got up. As much as I hate doing anything right when I wake up, it was still a good idea. Nice easy pace and ran for a little longer time than yesterday.
